History

• 1924: The Rev. Onions founded the 1st West Footscray Scout Group at the Anglican Church, Russell St. West Footscray.
• 7th December 1935: Original wooden Scout Hall opened at present site, Barkly St West Footscray by Col. H. M. Cohen. Group now known as 2nd Footscray. Land donated by Mr. Gaudion, the owner of the quarry on which the Park is now located.
• 1984: Hall burnt down. Group remained opened through meeting at several local halls.
• 15th March 1987: Present bluestone hall opened by Dr. Wells.
• 1988 onwards: Wightwick family involved in Group.
