Alex had a pacemaker implanted on the 8th December 1999 to help him during his Shapiro's Crisis'. Definitely not a fun way to spend the weeks leading up to Christmas. But Alex has a very special teacher and classmates. To help cheer him up they visited him in hospital.

When they arrived Alex was very down in the dumps, but by the time they needed to leave he definitely had a smile on his face!! Below are some of the photographs that they took.

Lets get into the spirit!! Mmmmm is this Alex the red nosed reindeer?

Look out Rudolph!!

The balloon is neat - but there is definitely someone missing....

That's who is missing - SANTA!!!

Mmmm he looks suspiciously like the surgical registrar.......

Oh and Spot from Wild and Wonderful - Alex's favourite show (has to be it has animals on it!!!)

They decided to send mum for a break and then make a surprise!!!!

Alex can spread the icing....

Arbaz can put some of the decorations on.....

And Kyle can help too!!!

Sadly it's time to leave, but the three musketeers and their heroes, Miss Pettigrew and Paula will be together again soon.

Hurry up and get better Alex!!!
