the premises of the Croatian Club “Dalmacija” – Terrey Hill, on October 30th,
2005 at 12 noon.

Since the last GM the Committee has tried to continue
with the established activities. Our work was focused on organising the visit
of the university lecturer and organ player from Croatia, Mario Perestegi. That
included providing sponsorship, promotion, accommodation, organisation of the
Sydney concert, recitals and lectures, and liaison with Ivana Troselj and
Wesley Music Centre in Canberra.

The concerts resulted in the
promotion of Croatian cultural heritage and created a significant interest
within the Australian professional music community, who expressed interest in
further collaborative work.
The Canberra concert was recorded
live by the radio channel and broadcasting company Art Sound.
The promotion by the Australian
Croatian print and radio media, as well as Croatian Catholic Centres largely
contributed to the success of the concerts. We are very grateful for this, as
it served to promote not only the concerts, but also the AMAC Sydney
Association within the Croatian community.
