G'day friends and visitors. It's been a long time since we've updated the
website, but things were getting kinda hectic lately. As many would now know,
Lionel had heart valve surgery in mid-July. All has gone well and now that he
has some time and is restricted to light duties, website management has had
it's day.
There are a few photos from the old site which we couldn't let go, so they've stayed.

The one of both kids at about seven months old. This had to stay!
Here is Dayna in early 2000 during a local parade.
Dayna at her 5th birthday. What a princess! But you can't have your crown and
eat it too!

Karen's new look.
Dayna and cousin Sheldon, down from Sydney. Jesse was at that unphotogenic
age where facial contortions dominated in the presence of a camera, so he
misses out.
Asher is two. Loves anything with wheels. He still doesn't talk much but
prefers to mimic sounds. Words that describe sounds are also a hit. His latest
is "burp"
This is the yummiest teddy.
The kids have a harmonious co-existence here.

Lex impersonating a famous klezmer musician. Lionel impersonating a renowned photographer.
Lionel in intensive care post-op. Still can't get over the number of tubes and
wires which go into the body, into cavities, blood vessels etc. The blue thing
which enters the neck just below the ear carries wires which travel down the
blood vessel to the inside of the heart to monitor heart action. They juggled
the position of the ends of the wires by drawing out the colour coded wires (inside the snaky
plastic tube). The specimen jar holds the old faulty valve.

Our friend Janet in USA has her first baby. Daniel. He's here for his first five minutes of world-wide fame.
