"
I have been sailing with CPSC since November, 2002
as a Junior "L" plate sailor. I love learning to sail and I
think it is a great sport. My instructors, Sarah and
Andrew are the BEST, they make it lots of fun and I
have learnt a lot.
My favourite boat to sail is the Optimist and I love to
race against my friends James, Ian, Jimmy and Nathan.
I am looking forward to coming back (after the Xmas
break) to sailing and racing. I holidayed with my
family at Nelson Bay over the Xmas Break and my
Grandpa took me out sailing on his 16ft Cat, which
was great too.
This weekend will be our first time to sail and race at
2.00 p.m. and myself and James are looking forward to
the challenge."

The results of the races held before Christmas are on
the club website. (

) We had some
close races, and close encounters with jellyfish too...
Jellyfish do not attack and kill humans!
Racing for the second half of the season will be held
with the seniors racing, starting at 2pm every
Saturday. Additional training days will be held after
school starts back for the new year.
Thinking of buying your own boat?
Speak to Sarah (9543 1306) or Andrew (0404 049

available at the club, or visit the sabot or optimist
websites for second hand boat lists.
