It has a trained staff drawn from numerous denominations and while most are from the Western Suburbs, some come from further afield. Beth Tephillah is particularly dedicated to equipping and facilitating the ministry of God’s people in the Western Region of Melbourne, but people from anywhere are welcome to participate. The team who provide prayer ministry have trained with a number of organisations and methods, including Elijah House Australia, Wholeness Through Christ Ministries Australia Inc (WTCMA), Ellel Ministries International, Sonrise Family Ministries and Ed Smith's Theophostic method. The Directors of Beth Tephillah Ministry Centre are Malcolm and Diana Dow. Malcolm and Diana are the Pastors of Williamstown Baptist Church, which owns and meets at Beth Tephillah.
