Beth Tephillah Ministry Centre offers a training course in Prayer Ministry.

Training and seminars will be conducted by Malcolm and Diana Dow with a number of guest teachers sharing expertise and gifting in different areas of Holy Spirit led ministry.

Beth Tephillah Ministry Centre opened in 1996 as a ministry of Williamstown Baptist Church. It has staff from a number of denominations and is dedicated to equipping and facilitating the ministry of God’s people in the Western Region of Melbourne.

Malcolm and Diana are the Pastors of Williamstown Baptist Church and Directors of the Beth Tephillah Ministry Centre. Both are experienced teachers and prayer ministers, trained by Wholeness Through Christ Ministries Australia (WTCMA) and Elijah House Australia. Diana is International KYB Director for Christian Women Communicating International and Malcolm is a Theologian and former University Lecturer. They have previously run three courses in the West for WTCMA, and have assisted in other courses and conferences. This is the second year this prayer ministry course has run.

Course:

Designed for those who want to pray for healing for others, the course will be run over two years - Part A then Part B.

Part A will comprise eight sessions containing teaching, demonstration and personal ministry times.

Part B will comprise a supervised placement at an approved prayer ministry centre or similar for practice, and participation in at least two Saturday seminars and workshops during the year.

Topics include the nature of a person; relationship with God; sin, its effect and forgiveness; physical, mental, emotional and spiritual healing through Jesus and the cross; the work of the Holy Spirit; practical healing ministry in the church.

Fees:

Part A - $200

Part B - $40 plus day seminar fees to be determined to cover costs.

The course will be on Saturdays at Beth Tephillah, 55 Park Crescent, Williamstown (Mel 55 J7) from 10am till 4pm on 24 Feb, 24 Mar, 26 May, 23 Jun, 28 Jul, 25 Aug, 27 Oct, 24 Nov.

Refreshments provided. BYO lunch.

Part B seminars will also run in 2001, on 7 Apr and 8 Sep. If you already have training, contact us about these.
