The Verschlingen

A horrible, huge white snake that inhabits the swamp near the Schwartzen Walden. It emits a foul odour - strong enough to knock over prey without the need for a bite from it's venomous fangs. A single bite is enough to ensure a quick death. The beast is also rumoured to be the source of a dread plague affecting the region. The party was able to defeat this beast, but at enormous cost, the life of our friend Pierre.
