Scoundrel's Folly - Dandelion's doggerel

To amuse us after our excursion to L'isle du Bete, Dandelion composed and recited an ode based on our journey. We decided not to drown him providing he promised to keep silent for the rest of the trip!

Under Berek we did sail
'cross the frothing sea
Till Isle du Bete we did hail
A brave crew and me

Siren song we met first
spiked our ship indeed
fight against the accursed
less one man to feed

A whaler we did spy
leviathan attacked
drowning the sailors cry
pure motives they lacked

Ten frigates he did outwit there
dropped us on the isle
Three monsters died with our care
which made us smile
