The Other 'Other' Tale of the Three Little Pigs
A comedy play for 50+ Children - 6-10 year olds - listed by Australian Script Centre.

The three little pigs drive their mother so crazy she asks them to leave home. The pigs wander through a collision of fairytales and real life, meeting and collecting colourful characters along the way until they meet the thing they all fear most, a wolf. Young wolfie, however, is a vegetarian with very nice manners, and he just wants some friends to play with.

Reviews from the second production of the play Sep 2007:

"Scene ten was my favourite because everyone laughed at Rock- Bottom bob when he said “Dead! Bring out your dead! Half price removals!” and Grim Reaper said, “He’s dead on time.” That was funny and excellent." Peter, Grade 2

This has been a wonderful experience for all involved. I have found working with a script that has allowed me to involve up to 60 children to be very unique. The play is funny and enjoyable and at no time did the children lose interest. They enthusiastically learned their lines and took on understudy roles. They were able to develop their acting and speaking skills to a very high level. The children have thoroughly enjoyed their experience and benefitted greatly from it. Helen, teacher.

Useful for half school or whole grade productions with parts for confident children as well as less confident or younger children. Cast size can be adjusted as desired by changing the size of the Blind Mice Band, Cinderella's entourage or dropping the seven dwarves scene. Order from Australian Script Centre HERE.
