Dear all, my father died this morning
at 2:00 am in his sleep while in the Western General hospital
in Footscray. The day before, we gathered together, Joe, John,
Mario and myself and discussed with the staff there our desires
for our fathers continued care. His circulation was not good and
his legs had turned blue and his arms were becoming cold. My Father
was dying. We asked that he be left to die in peace but without
pain. We know that this is what dad would of wanted. My father
was not a great man as we measure greatness in our world. However
to me he was the greatest father that a son could have. He made
me the man that I am today, a man that I can look in the mirror
and be proud to be.
Over these last few days the four
of us have worked together to do the best for our Father and Mother.
I am sure that dad is proud of his four boys, all different, yet
in many ways the same.
Thanks Dad.
Love David.
