| Pop group East 17 - whose original line-up disbanded in 1997 - have reunited for a one-off concert at the Shepherd's Bush Empire in London.
Tony Mortimer, Brian Harvey, John Hendy and Terry Coldwell achieved a total of 16 Top 40 hits during the 1990s.
These included Around The World, Deep and their 1995 Christmas number one single Stay Another Day.
Their concert came a month after former boy band rivals Take That embarked on a 29-date reunion tour around the UK.
Harvey was sacked from East 17 nine years ago after claiming in an interview that drugs made "better people".
The other members relaunched themselves as E-17, while Mortimer began a solo career of his own.
None of them managed to replicate the success they had enjoyed in the group.
Last May, Harvey was left in a coma after being crushed under the wheels of his own car in a freak accident.
He made a full recovery, however, even though doctors rated his chances of survival immediately afterwards as one in 50.
On his official website, Mortimer said he had been recording new solo material. |
