The first time I met Tony was Valentines day 1998..I really can not believe that was nearly 7 years ago..I was only 18 then and now im an old git..hahaha From what I can remember I didnt say much to him as I think I was in shock,I had been an East17 fan since 1992 and 6 years later after East17 was over I was finally getting to meet him.I know Tony is quite tall but I remember thinking when I met him for the first time "oooh isnt he short" Prob just thought he was even taller than he actually is coz stood next to Brian he looked like a giant..when I know its coz Brian is a midget!! lol. After that first meeting there were many great meetings to come.I can honestly say the 8/9 years I was a devoted East17 fan were the best 8/9 years of my life so far!!!

The first time I ever met Tony was when I had been allowed onto their film shoot for their Greatest Hits advert... Tony had I think his leg in a cast because he'd fallen off his motorbike a few days before. It was back in the day of The Ozone (remember that programme!?), Jamie Theakston was up in the dressing room interviewing Tony for the show. I was sitting down the stairs watching the other 3 boys when Jamie left the room and standing at the top of the stairway in the open door was Tony, taking off his top. He caught me looking at him and covered up his nipples with his fingers and spun round and did an 'Oooh' face! I was made to feel so welcome that day! I was scared because I had never been anywhere alone before but I had a great day.

The last time I saw Tony was in McDonalds in Barnet... I was next door in Pizza Hut having a meal and I spotted him like the East 17 Hawk that I was... I followed him next door and got behind him in the queue and quizzed him about what I was up to... and then had to buy something from Maccys even though I was mid-meal next door!
