This miniature was first primed with a white primer and then painted a dark brown (Citadel scorched brown) over the top. 

Next I painted some irregular shapes in a light tan (Citadel snakebite leather). 

The next step was to paint in the darker brown spots that are in the light tan shapes.

In the larger dark drown spots, small spots of light tan were added.

When dry, the miniatures were then painted over with a (Citadel brown ink) dark brown ink.  When the ink was dry the highlights were added with some very light brown.

Details like the jewels were added last.
