Phoenix Lords are the most ancient of Exarchs. For all intents and
purposes, Phoenix Lords are immortal because when one is killed, the dominant Eldar spirit
(the first and greatest to wear the suit) that inhabits the spirit stone in the suit of
armor that they wear takes over the next Exarch to wear it. Jain Zar is probably the most ferocious of all the Phoenix Lords. She is the first of all the Exarchs and she is an inspiration to all Howling Banshees. TACTICAL SUGGESTIONS:Jain Zar comes with the following Exarch powers, Acrobatic, War Shout and Bounding Leap. She also comes with the following wargear, Banshee mask, the Silent Death (the same as a web of skulls with strength 5) and Executioner. Jain Zar is the perfect character killer. She can be used to either defend Heavy support or to lead attacks up at the front of the army. Jain Zar is fearless and when she leads other Howling Banshees, she inspires them so much that they also become fearless. Nine Howling Banshees in a Wave Serpent, accompanied by Jain Zar makes a very "sharp" spearhead for your warhost. In such a force, Jain Zar with her Exarch powers should be used to take on the leader of whatever squad you attack. Obviously you want to get such a powerful squad into grips with the enemy as soon as possible (and in one piece) and for those reasons I’d suggest that you screen any vehicles with Jain Zar in them, with Vypers or other Wave Serpents with supporting troops in them. |
