Venus
27th June 2003

As mentioned before, Venus encounters Mercury on the 21st and 22nd of June (see Mercury). The 27day old Moon nears this planet on the 28th, but Venus rises only one hour before the Sun, the sky will brighten considerably making the observing of the Moon somewhat difficult.

All times quoted are Australian Eastern Standard Time, views are from Brisbane.
