Snout - The New Pop Dialogue (Au Go Go)

Indie pop rockers Snout have a great new album of guitar dominated music with an accent firmly on the melody. The power trio format is very popular at the moment and this band do it extremely well, in a similar style to Even. Ross, Greg and Ewan, apparently devoid of surnames, are the trio who make this energetic and very likeable sound which has been produced in a crisp, sharp and clear manner, dirtied up by the occasional bit of fuzzy guitar. Among the highlights are: Remember to Die, Matter Baby, Winning Smile, The Beat Goes On, You're the Right Kind and The Hour O' Power.
