| In the words of Hugh: "The most amusing gig was at the Barwon Club in Geelong, where we were down as the first support of three bands. The other two didn't show. So, we kind of played everything we knew (to a small crowd), and then got this guy up from the audience who'd been heckling us... he turned out to be quite a singer, so we did a 10 minute version of Gloria, a few AC/DC covers [it's amazing what Ross and Rob could do without rehearsal], and the obligatory covers we always did [Degrassi, The Who, Devo, etc.]. Good value." | ||||

Ross went mad at the owner... which would have been ok, except that it was the pub I went to for lunch as I worked next door! (the owner swore black-and-blue that "Snout would never play again in Melbourne")." | ||||
