Joint Meeting The Official DG visit is on Wednesday 5th September, the Maroubra Lions club will be hosting the meeting. I would like to extend an invite to all the members and partners of the clubs in Zone 2 to join us at the Matraville RSL Club. 

 

The Randwick Mayor is giving a Civic Reception  prior to the meeting at the Randwick Council Chambers Frances St (Cnr Avoca St)

The Travels of John and Lainie.... and  Mandy and Peter.

We met up with Lainie and John this week in Yorkshire. They had travelled down to Leeds and spent 2 days with us.  The first  two pictures are taken at Ripley Castle, near Ripon and then the next few are at Fountains Abbey-a ruined Cistecian Abbey near Harrogate (ruined by Henry V111 in the Reformation in the 1500's).  We then move to York where the various pictures show us all and one of York Minster itself-one also shows John eating a "Fat Rascal" cake at Betty's Tearooms in York.  We enjoyed showing them some of the local sights and they are off again on their travels.
