Wristwatches In Movies

I have always liked wristwatches and have been a bit of a movie buff. I remember the first time I saw a wristwatch become the focus of attention on a film screen. It was Roger Moore’s RolexSubmariner in the 1973 James Bond Film, "Live And Let Die". The watch could be transformed into a super magnet and its bezel turn into a mini buzz-saw. I was only 12 years old when I saw this film and had not appreciated wristwatches in any way. The only watch I had owned then was an Edox stainless steel with leather strap, manual wind and had the word "incabloc" engraved on the back. It took me years to find out what incabloc meant.

In May 1995, I bought the British Edition of Esquire magazine. Inside it had an article titled "Screen Watch" by Nick Foulkes in which he described an actor and/or film and what watch was predominant in that movie. He only touched the surface and this is where I’d like to make a comprehensive list of films and the wristwatches that can be clearly identified in that film.
