Exhaust System Specifications

Starting at the engine and working our way back, the headers are Jet Hot coated 1-3/4 inch SLP Emissions Legal Headers.

They are bolted to the heads with ARP Header Studs and 12-point nuts. Working our way back through SLP’s mandrel bent pipes to a pair of high-flow catalytic converters, the pipes merge into one 3-1/2 inch diameter pipe, effectively producing a crossover, then immediately split back into a pair of 2-1/2 inch pipes.

Over-the-axle with a pair of mandrel bent 2-1/2 inch pipes.

Slip joints (circled in yellow) allow for easy removal of rear (muffler) section.

Over the "track bar" where the inner pipe makes an immediate 90-degree bend towards the driver’s side, then a 180-degree bend, then through the "aft" muffler.

The outer pipe takes a turn downward, then a 90-degree bend, then through the "fore" muffler. Through a pair of polished Stainless Works 1969 Z28 Chambered Mufflers, then 90-degree bends towards the rear of the car.
