Could the next group of teeny bopping top 40 chart kids please fuck off the Jack scene, it's funny how they all say they surf now and know ALL Jack songs, but only Flake. It's you people with rich mummies and daddies who snatch up the tickets to hear one song, whereas the rest of us REAL fans have to be content with kickin back on the porch with a beer and a six string wishing they were there. Hey everyone! It's great to see that so many people from so many different places are able to come together in a place like this to appreciate the incredible music of Jack Johnson. I was able to see Jack play live for the first time at the Austin City Limits Music Festival on Sunday (9/21/03), and absolutely loved it. It may well have been the best concert I have ever been to. He sounded almost exactly as he does on his albums! I can't wait to see him again. I came home wanting to experience his music even more fully, and this site has allowed me to do just that with the guitar tablatures. Thank you so much for including those on this site. Keep up the good work!

What can I say.... Jack has completely inspired me in so many different ways. I listen and play his music religiously. All the rap artists and punkrockers, tune in. Jack Johnson is the real deal. It is totally invigorating to find an artist who has some depth to his music and can jam at the same time. I just wish that the East Coast had his music around earlier. Jack, thanks for making Wilmington the best summer ever. P.S. Keep coming to N.C.

Ahhh, went to the Jack and Ben show in Berkely Friday night (8.15.03). Jack played a little too long but was really good. He played a couple new songs I've never heard and sung some new lyrics. You won't believe this but, halfway through Ben's set Santana came out. What a trip, best show of my life. Props to DJ Z-Trip too!

What would it take for people to stop file sharing and start purchasing legitimate downloads? Universal is offering downloads for 99¢ a track ($9.99 an album) and even contests. Like if you go to http://www.gotdownloads.com you can downloads tracks by Jack Johnson and may more. Plus you can enter a contest to win a number of prizes including a proof of the album Sea Change autographed by Beck, lithographs, and signed autographs. Is that enough to get people into purchasing the downloads or is there something we’re missing? Please get back to me with your thoughts on this subject.
