Steve Cullen has shown just how much O scale can be squeezed into a small home - and still have an exquisite layout with heaps of operating potential. The Bellbird Timber Tramway is an Australian timber tramway, with a number of different types of traffic available to run on Steve's operating sessions.

There is naturally timber - logs run from two different loading points down to the saw mill at Hillend and the cut lumber is then sent to the wharf at Bellbird for shipment. Ore runs from the mine to the wharf, and coal from the wharf to Hillend. Any other traffic offering can be transported in a covered van.

This On30 layout is packed with fine detail, and as you can see from the last photo in the gallery, lives in the owner's family room and is gradually creeping towards the kitchen. Enjoy the scenery and the unique flavour of an Australian timber tramway on the Bellbird tram.

Hmmm, is that wood smoke I can smell???
