Trip back to Vietnam

|
Trip
to Vietnam - both north and south, in company with my son Damien,
Vietnam mate Barry Collins, brother-in-law Renwick Harkess, good
mate Stohl Watt, friend Matt Bliss, and two other associates.
We have planned to visit the major French battlefields of RC 4
and Dien Bien Phu. These battles were significant in that the
battle on the RC4 (runs parralel to Chinese border) in 1950 was
the first major defeat for the French, while the battle at Dien
Bien Phu in 1954 was their last. I'm not sure which battle was
the worst, but my gut feeling leans towards the RC4. We are going
to follow in the footsteps of those poor bastards. I'll have plenty
of photos when I get back, and will be happy to inlcude them on
this site.

The 'Edge'
|
The
answer to being marooned and not having the means to survive.
This multipurpose survival tool was my brainchild. With the help
of my brother-in-law John Beare, we developed this to its final
conclusion. Now registered with IP Australia and patent pending,
it should make us a bit of pocket money. The military will love
it! Contact
me if you have an interest in owning one..

Project of Significance!

|
"Go
Lads!" A great project originally mooted by VVAA to help
all Viet Vets wherever they be. Along with the help of a large
number of Vets, the old Kalpowar Station in the Gulf Countryhas
now been taken over by the group to provide a place where Vietnam
Vets could spend some time in peace.
