Perhaps it is illogical, but at the moment the most detailed record of the history of Pete's Place can be found on the What's New page.
All I will add here, for the moment, is that for the first five or six years of this site's existence, it was hosted at PowerUp, my ISP during that time. I have changed ISPs, but not because of any problems with PowerUp; I simply decided that I wished to upgrade to a Cable modem connection with Optus @ Home.
