Water, we love it, we play in it, we holiday near it, our body is made up of
almost 70% water is it any wonder we have such an affinity for it ?
Water is responsible for carrying nutrients and oxygen to cells, removing toxins
and wastes, converting food into energy, cushioning joints, hydrating skin, and
empowering the body’s natural healing processes.
It is widely recognised that we must consume at least 1 litre of water every
day, therefore the quality of this water is imperative as it has a direct impact
on all working functions of the body.
Today’s water supply is undoubtedly polluted, whether it’s by toxins in the
environment or by chemicals added to kill these toxins. When polluted water is
flowing through the body, its natural cleansing function is impaired and health
problems may eventuate as a result of the build up of toxicity in the body. One
of the greatest gifts you can give your body is a constant supply of Pure Water.
The cosmic irony is now that we have contaminated our own planets’ water
supply the only way we can achieve pure water is to mimic Mother Natures’
process. She evaporates the water and converts it into vapour which returns to
the earth as distilled water – rain.
Our Vitality 4 Life water distillers replicate this process, which is widely
recognised as the most effective method of water purification.
The distillers operate using ordinary tap water, which is boiled and heated to
100oC. As the temperature increases the steam rises, leaving behind dissolved
solids, impurities and other contaminants. The pure steam is then captured and
condensed to percolate through a coconut shell carbon filter which, unlike
normal filters, is kept free of bacteria due to the purity of the distilled
water.
Unlike other purification methods, steam distilled water is 99.5% to 99.7% free
of dissolved solids and contaminants.
Distillation effectively removes contaminants such as bacteria, dissolved
solids, heavy metals, chemicals, pesticides, insecticides, Cryptosporidium,
Giardia and other bacterias.
