Q 2. How do I get so much stock?
This used to be easier when the main shop stocking times were regular.
Now, however, the main shops stock at random. Its a matter of patience and persistance!
Simply choose the kind of goods you want to buy, go to the shop and keep refreshing the page until the stock arrives.
At times, the shops are stocked quite quickly, at others it can take up to 30 minutes.
This can seem tedious, but its all part of the game. You get some great items by being first in!
It's also worth visiting the Shop Ads in the Chat Boards too.
Many players have sincere sales from time to time and you can buy their goods, mark up the price and still be low on the shop wizard!
I try to focus on certain items and not divert too much from those.
I find it's easier gathering a smaller number of items than it is trying to cover everything in Neopia (though thats personal choice)
Lastly, because my shop has a good position in the market place, I am now able to price my items a bit higher, though not ridiculously so.
I don't have to rely so much on the wizard for players to visit anymore and my regular customers now expect to pay a little more for the convenience of knowing I always have certain items in stock - especially when they are on a quest and can't use the wizard.
It is also very very expensive to "upsize" a shop at this level (last time I upgraded it cost over 45,000np for just one size!) and those costs have to be covered somehow.
