Thursday 14th October 2004

Alex is all dressed up in period costume for the 1850's as he is off on an excursion (field trip) to Elizabeth Farm

I think we did a good job of camouflaging his AFO's here

22nd August 2004

Alex and his cub scout troop went to Thirlmere Rail Museum.

We thought it very appropriate to lock all the cubs in the prison car :-)

3rd August 2004

Alex has become a Cub Scout.

Not sure about these cub scouts. The other week they made "periscopes" - mirrored devices for looking around corners. Alex is a Game Boy addict and I periodically hide his Game Boy when he is being punished. Well Mr Smarty here decided that the periscope was great for looking on top of all the cupboards so that he didn't have to climb!! That's my son!! PS he didn't find it - I put it in a place where he would never look - the dirty linen hamper - haven't met a male yet who could pick up their dirty clothes :-)

21st March 2004

Today I was working in the yard and cleaning out my back shed. Once I had pulled out Alex's bike and scooter he was off and not interested in helping me. Instead he was riding his scooter up and down the footpath. (he hasn't mastered riding his bike yet - besides the tyres needed pumping up).

After a few hours I came inside to have a well earned break and a cup of tea. As is my custom I sat down to drink my cuppa in front of the computer and found that my little angel had cut out dozens of paper hearts. He had attached them with blue tac to my computer screen and keyboard so that they were literally covered. On them he had written "I love you mummy very very very very much"

Somehow cleaning out the back shed wasn't so important anymore.........
