Various research articles that have been published in the medical literature give details of typical growth patterns for children with T-18 and T-13.

Typically the growth curves for children with T-18 and T-13 vary greatly from those growth curves used for typically developing children.

The data, which is published in the medical literature, is not extensive, however it does give us a base from which to view the growth of children with T-18. As a result one of our list members gathered together the available data and collated it into documents for families. These documents are in Adobe format and you will need Adobe Acrobat Reader to view these documents. If you do not have this please click here

Please remember that, along with any information from this or other web sites, and other families, should be used cautiously and in consultation with your own health care provider. Your own medical professionals know your child personally and as such is best able to advise on appropriate and individual care.
