The Association has an extensive Library of books (and some videos and CDs) for our members to borrow at members meetings or by special arrangement.

The books and videos are stored in theme grouped boxes:
FAMILY HISTORY - All types for researching your Family Tree, as well as Cornish Surnames, occupations and Indexes held in Cornwall.
CORNISH GENERAL - PLACES - Modern, old, well known and lesser-known villages and tourist attractions. Ordnance Survey maps of Cornwall.
CORNISH GENERAL - Mining, shipwrecks, smuggling, Methodism, legends, songs/music, language, etc.
CORNISH IN AUSTRALIA - NSW (Orange, Byng, Tumut, Cadia, NSW wide), South Australia (esp. Little Cornwall/Copper Triangle), Victoria (incl Bendigo & Ballarat)
MAGAZINES - Cornish/British including Cornish World, Cornish Scene, Family 'Tree'
GENERAL HISTORY - Celtic, Saints, British Social History
FICTION - Poldark Series, novels set in Cornwall or Australia with Cornish background etc.
VIDEOS/DVD - Poldark Series, Places around Cornwall, Festivals, Glen Innes (DVD), Movies

As we now have over 480 items (6 boxes) we can only bring 2-3 boxes to each of our Association main events. However, members may ask for a particular book/video or boxed category to be taken to a function or coming event, if you contact our librarians in advance. Access to the Library is usually open to members only.
