........ Members in Finance Section with long term HDA but had not won positions in the new Finance structure had a win in April when a phased pro-rata termination of HDA was agreed ......... In other news: Elections for the new Departmental Committee will be next held after the final new Department structure is known, in mid 2003 - until then we have lots of vacancies for delegates due to retirements and redundancies - contact us now if you are interested .......

After lengthy negotiations the former DPWS and the PSA agreed to a comprehensive new policy and procedures for Job Evaluation. These places strong controls on errant managers but also are demanding of PSA time. To make these work to protect members interests we need more members trained in Job Evaluation and willing to put time into it! See Help Wanted below!
