First new song C.B. is very powerful.
Kiyo is playing the electric guitar ( a Gibson i think) for all the
new songs. Sads really benefit from the grunt of an extra guitar and
it makes a hella cute fashion accessory too ;) The crowd is huge,
tight packed and wildly enthusiastic, bouncing vertically. Next song
Stop is also great and the crowd are really loving it :O N.Doll
he sings while smoking a cigarette. I like this one too alot even
though his voice cracks rather painfully in the chorus. F'sake I wish
he'd cut down on the fags! I love Sakashitas solo in this song, he
has such a warm chunky sound. Sitar: this is so good too, but the
next one Cold Rain is my favourite. It's a laid back but intense song,
and so well writen you'd think it was Kuroyume ;) Release this damn
song!! I am very hopeful about the new Sads album with such great
new material already. |

COLLECTOR UPBH-1082 tracks Liar/ Live at the Scala(U.K) Sandy/ PV Sandy/ Live at the Scala(U.K) Tokyo/ PV Tripper/ Live at the Scala(U.K) Liar/ PV Cracker's Baby/Live at the Scala(U.K) Sandy/ Film Collectors Edit This DVD is a combination of footage from the Sads UK Tour which followed the release of their first album Sad Blood Rock'n'Roll, with four live performances at the Scala in London and some promotional videos. The sound quality (or lack of) ruins the lives in the UK. Kiyos vocals just get lost everytime. The scenes of them wandering around bleak old blighty are amusing though and they do get a good response from the crowd. Blood is definatley a British style punk album as opposed to say Rose God Gave Me, which is more American in style. |
