Finally have a little time at home to post some stuff :) Went on our weekly bike-riding on Sunday, this time we rode all the way to Sizzlers (Hume Hwy). The coming Sunday I'm planning to go past that point and into the pretty wooded area that we saw :D
Anyway, like I said, our big & pretty plasma has arrived! Looks nice with our new couch, I'm still not used to it. Whenever I walk into our lounge I feel like I'm walking into an Ikea showroom.. Here's a peek:

Now we just need the frames to hang it on the wall, and also some sound system as well, haha~

A funny encounter I had last week when I went to buy breakfast at Maccas:
Me: Can I have an english muffin and a small orange juice please?
Girl at counter: What jam do you want with your muffin?
Me: What jams do you have?
Girl at counter: We only have orange jam.
Me: ... I'll have the orange then.

Going to be a quick post tonight, might blog again tomorrow. Our new sofa, tv unit & coffee table came in today, looks really pretty :) I'll take a photo of it tomorrow when our new plasma is supposedly arriving! Can't wait!

Anyway, for the Updates:
1. Uploaded a few photos from my Tasmania trip last year - still can't get over how peaceful & beautiful it is, I'd love to live there when I retire.
2. Added an "Output" page, sort of like a portfolio. Just going to put some of my works up there - don't get too excited, it aint too great >.>
3. Couldn't be bothered making a new 'snowflake' link for my outputs, so I cleared the links page to make way for my collections :D haha.. I moved all the links onto this blog page, you can find it under what "I'm currently doing".

Two things I am thankful for today:
1. Tomato noodle soup - my mum makes the best tomato soup! Mmm..
2. Music - Can't live without it.

Another fun weekend this week! Thien came over this morning to cook pho for us.. Delish! Now I can try and learn to make my own sometime when I'm free :) After a few more people came over to pig out, we went bike riding, rollerblading and played with Thien's dog Max who looked really excited about going outdoors with so many people. Then at the last minute, we took 2 cars up to Kmart at Fairfield and bought 2 extra bikes - 1 for me and another for Hon. Looks like our weekly bike-riding is going to be a lot more fun :)

Two things I am thankful for today:
1. Bikes - who would've thought someone could have so much fun exercising away without thinking of how much you sweat!
2. Sun - Love it in Winter, hate it in Summer. All the same, it was such a perfect day today, haven't had so much fun in ages :D

A nice fun and relaxing day today. Went bowling with another 14 people, quite fun :) Made a personal record of 3 strikes for the first game, and 0 for the next. Ha-ha, I get worse and worse as the game drags on. We went to the vege restaurant at Cabra afterwards, had a big meal with entree, mains, and then walked to BKK for desserts. Yum~
Yesterday was quite fun, too. My first time helping out with Eminence with Piano Stories II. I got to watch about 3 or 4 pieces played during the performance. I also saw a few highschool & uni friends who attended last night's show, and they said it was really good. Thumbs-up to Eminence :)

Updates:
- I finally found something to put on my blank page: Photos!
Biggest thanks to Thien whom I stole the majority of the photos from since I didn't bring a camera, and also to Even & Yayu who probably doesn't know that I stole a few off them too :)

Two things I am thankful for today:
1. Clear sky - Such a beautiful day today. Good weather means good spirits :)
2. Cameras - Can't live without them if you want to create a pool of memories.

Here's a photo of the group at Fairfield AMF Bowling today:

Spring has arrived early this year. One can notice this by the warm breeze that softly fans your cheeks. Time to put away all the thick winter coats, only leaving thinner jackets for the cool nights, for Winter has not yet completely left us.

On another note, we had to form groups of 3's at uni today for one of my Economic subjects. I was lucky to be one of the few who had teamed straight away so I wouldn't have to worry about being left out. They were both dark-skinned males, my group members, one from Africa and the other Malaysia. The former asked me if I was from Singapore .. O_o .. do I really look like I'm from SG??

Anyway, Thursdays are good days.. I always look forward to my Astronomy classes in the evenings :) Came home tonight to a farewell party for one of my family friends - She's getting married and moving all the way to Brazil. For good. She told us of the time when she first met 'him' and knew that they will spend the rest of their lives together. Talk about love at first sight. How I wish I could experience that..

Time for bed now, another ordinary day of work tomorrow. I hope the 'guy' who always winks at me, comes in to the restaurant tomorrow. Always lifts my spirits, a nice wink :)

Two things I am thankful for today:
1. Friends - Only a few are enough to keep you happy and less lonely.
2. Stars - How beautiful it is to gaze up at the night sky, able to distinguish the planets from the stars and each constellation mingled inside them.

Arrived home from my snow trip this morning around 2am, tired and exhausted. As painful as it was, this year's snow trip was as fun as it is every year. Surprisingly, I found numerous bruises running all over my legs (now I really wonder how many times I crashed, toppled over, and rolled down the mountains). Nevertheless, it was great fun :) I still remember the morning we arrived at Jindabyne around 6am. I stepped out into the cold morning, looked up at the dark sky and immediately spotted Orion's Belt - such an amazing sight since it was my first time witnessing the real thing. I tried to make out the rest of the constellation of his body and shield, but failed to do so with my limited knowledge in Astronomy =\

After spending a day failing to pick up snowboarding, I went back to skiing for the 2nd & 3rd day. The most fun part was on the 3rd day when we skiied from Blue Cow all the way back to Perisher - twice. It was absolutely fun, I wanted to do it again and again and go up the mountains for more, but alas, it was already time to go home :(

Two things I am thankful for today (A small idea I borrowed off Le):
1. Snow - I love it!
2. Toddlers - My little neice came over today. Toddlers are so cute and they make you happy, makes me want one for myself.
