Went to help out at EGX (Electronic Games Expo) yesterday, had to wake up at 5:30am >_< but since it was daylight savings, it was officially 6:30am. Still, I needed more sleep :p Busy busy day it was, relaxed a bit after I packed up everything and watched the beginning of A Night In Fantasia 2005. Saw the 'guy' from the choir. Beautiful voice he has, but he walked passed me and I realised how short he was.. doh.

Was so tired today, after spending 8 hours of work, I had to go uni for another 3 hours. At least the tutorial was relaxing. We had to watch 3 short videos but I fell fast asleep when the 2nd one started. When I woke up 15 minutes later, I realised how silly I looked, head resting against my arm laying flat on the table.. especially when I was sitting in the front row of the whole classroom. My parents tell me that I don't snore when I sleep, but when sleeping face down on the table, you never know how your body will react. To be on the safe side, I asked my friend sitting next to me if I had been snoring. He laughed out loud and shook his head.. so is that a yes or no? *eek* How embarrassing.

I've realised that Indonesians are very nice people. Not that I have met many.. but the few that I have met are all very friendly, selfless, and offer help even when not asked, even to people they don't know. I still think their language is very entertaining to listen to though, they speak really fast.

Had such a bizarre encounter yesterday. Was at UTS Library looking for the accounting books Even asked me to borrow for her when I noticed some guy following me and kept staring as I was walking in between shelves. Thinking back.. it was quite funny :p
Him: Hello.
Me: Hi.
Him: Have we met before?
Me: *looks left and right* I don't think so
Him: Saturday night at the disco?
Me: *looks at him very weirdly* No, sorry I don't go disco
Him: My name is Richie (or Rickie.. or something that started with an R)
Me: I'm Linny

As we shook hands, this freako attempted to kiss my hand. He was lucky he didn't see my facial expression, else he would've been scared off the face of the earth already.. ofcourse I yanked my hand away as fast as I could but trying not to be rude.

Him: So.. can we exchange contacts?
Me: What do you mean? (trying to stall)
Him: I mean.. can we exchange contacts?
Me: Such as ... ?
Him: Do you have a phone number?
Me: .. How about email?
Him: I don't really use email these days
Me: Well I don't really use my phone either
Him: C'mon..
Me: Sorry, I don't give away my phone number.
Him: Do you have a boyfriend?
Me: *thinks for 5 seconds* ... yeaa ...
Him: Are you just saying that to make me go away?
Me: ... *looks away* .. noo...

I can't believe I actually lied.. a very bad job at that too. After 5 minutes of trying to get my number, he finally left me alone and went away with nothing. Muahaha.. at least I offered my email. What a stubborn guy.

Then had dinner, crashed at John's house and watched Batman Begins. Very nice surround sound.. wish I had that at home too =\ loved the comfy blue couch though, I could just sleep on that all night, lol~

Had a bad experience last last Friday.. always wanted to try out Shakespeares / Jesters pies since I've heard so much about it. Went in and bought a potato & cheese pie, was late for the train so I rushed off quickly. Was sitting on the train going to the city from St. Leonards and took a bite out of my pie.. luckily I only took a small bite from the crust. Saw some brown bits so I took a sniff and knew it was beef. What did I do? I spat it out, that's what I did. I emptied out every single crumb that was in my mouth onto the bit of tissue I was holding. Lots of saliva involved. You can imagine how I would look, literally spitting out saliva & pastry on the train, not a very pretty sight :)   Luckily there were only about 3 people on the same carriage so they didn't notice my little trauma.

Learned my lesson, I did. Went back last Friday and bought a safe vegie spinach cheese & corn pie. Yum.

At least I didn't chew on a sushi roll then realising there was raw fish inside, that would've been heaps gross. Someone else did that, not me :)

Went to the Sergey Ryshkoff's Extraordinary Ice Circus yesterday at Olympic Park. I must say, it surely wasn't at as good as Cirque Du Soliel, and there were more than enough mistakes made. Nevertheless, at least the skating was good though, and they kept their confidence and bright smiles on during their downfalls.

Finally got a hold of the really nice BoA song - If You Were Here. It's from her 5th Album 'Girls On Top'. Brings back memories from the Snow Trip, since I kept telling my brother to repeat that song while we were driving up the mountains on the 2nd day.

New month means new fact, website & photo. Enjoy.
