Great day today - went to Bicentennial Park with a large group of kids & adults; had heaps of food, played games & sports, fed the ducks & eels, and played with the cute toddlers who joined in. Saw Liam the cutie (Half Hokkien half Polish). So adorable, makes me want to have a cute little mixed-blood of my own someday!

Finally finished reading the 6cm thick, 770 page book of The Chronicles of Narnia yesterday, and a brilliant book that is too, I should say. It consists of a popular tale called The Lion, The Witch and The Wardrobe that many of you may have heard of, and many more. If I'd the time, I would re-read this 770 page all over again - It's that good!

Just went over some of my old songs today and realised how much I missed my rock songs - mainly Story of the Year, they're great. Reminded me of how I used to swap songs with a friend long ago.. but if you ever get 'round to listening to them - I recommend Anthem of our Dying Day & Dive Right In. I love their songs (even though they get pretty crazy when performing), can't wait till their new album comes out next month! Ryan the guitarist is such a hunk.

I really am dreadfully slow at updating, but we (Even, my sister, her funny colleague Michael & I) went to the Festival of the Winds (or a more common term is the 'kite show') last Sunday at Bondi Beach. We even brought our own kites (made from China - so we didn't expect anything superb) and just as we suspected, only 1 of the 3 kites survived! The other 2 either got tangled before it even came out of the packet, or somehow found itself happily licking the sand. After about 2 hours, we headed up to the city for some karaoke, met another of my sister's funny colleague - a good singer too!

Here are some photos:

Just a quick note today, I thought Kiki's suggestion was a great idea. Played around with some blog comments and finally found one! Feel free to leave comments :)

Born on 27th of March 1981, 24 years of age, also an Arian like myself, comes the source of my utmost obsession - Lin Jun Jie. Otherwise known as JJ. I saw him on television tonight. Just the thought of him makes me feel all warm and fuzzy inside. I can't get enough of hearing him laugh ever so cutely - pure bliss. His voice, his singing, the way he captures my full attention feels as if he's serenading only to me .. As if.
All in all, I'm hoping to wake up tomorrow morning to at least catch another glimpse of him on tv again before he disappears :) <--- Now that's what you call obsessed!

Okay, really snapping back to reality here, Updates!
1. New fact & Interesting website to start off this fabulous Spring month!
2. New photo: Eta Carina is my favorite star. Still waiting for it to explode..

1st photo shows the huge, billowing pair of gas and dust clouds of the super-massive star, 100 times greater than our Sun; 8000 light years away. It stretches 10 billion miles across (about the diameter of our solar system), with its two lobes and thin equatorial disk rushing outward at about 1.5 million miles per hour.
2nd photo is of the Eta Carina Nebula NGC 3372 where this beautiful star lives.
