Went lawn bowling on thursday with a bunch of colleagues at Paddington. Man.. lawn bowling is fun! I don't care what other people say, I used to think it was boring until you try it out for yourself. Great game to enhance a team spirit :)
Threw a party at my house yesterday for my 21st and also because it would be the last time our whole group would be together since Lisa is leaving for Japan next week :( and since everyone has graduated or would be graduating very soon.. who knows when we will get this opportunity again.. a sad thought..
But anyway, yesterday was heaps fun ^^ I think the iToy with 19 people was the most hilarious part (minus all the body heat generated from all that jumping!). Managed to capture a few photos + 1 video of SoHA & Leng versing in Sing Star.
Pic 1: Everyone :p

Work has been quiet this week.. have more training next week. Going to go lawn bowling for my first time this Thursday. Apparently, my whole level always go out for activities once in a while for a 'bonding session'. Should be fun :)
Had an extra late birthday dinner for Thien this week. You can see him trying on his new present: a pretty Marcs polo shirt.
Uploaded a pretty song from FFX-2, Noriko Matsueda & Takahito Eguchi - Eternity Memory of Light waves. Downloaded the sheet music for it.. now I gotta find time to learn this song on piano on top of learning the guitar as well. Callouses in-progress really hurt :(
Sis made vege spaghetti + 'meat'balls today. Yumm..

So I got accepted for an Internship at St. George. Two days later, I got another acceptance e-mail from IBM asking which days I will be available to start. Took me many days and many discussions with various people trying to make a decision between the two. My final choice? St. George.
So I started my very first day at St. George today at Wynyard. It turned out alright, though I didn't have much to do. The real training starts tomorrow.. they are going to test me on SQL. Sounds interesting :) But full-time work + full-time study leaves no time for social life nor personal life. I hope I can manage this until I finish uni in another 3 months. Having to do 6 assignments within 2.5 months on top of learning the new stuff at work sounds like I'm gonna have a hard time trying to find 1 spare minute. But it will turn out OK, or so I tell myself :}

Quite an interesting day today. Went to the interview for St. George at Wynyard.. they asked me such hard questions that I knew I had wrongly answered. I thought I wouldn't get the position for sure, until the end when my interviewer says, "Welcome Aboard". What a shock! I accepted the position straight away and am due to start next week. A pity though.. I only went for an interview with IBM yesterday and that turned out really well, they told me that I had a good chance of being successful. I'll have to see how this goes...
Went to meet up with Even after uni today, only coming to find that her car battery was dead from listening to music & leaving the headlights on for... around 40 minutes? I felt bad for making her wait and cancelling our dinner plans because we were stuck in Chinatown for 1.5 hours! We did find an NRMA but he refused to help us and told us to instead call NRMA and wait 45 minutes, so we asked some cars that passed by but they either ignored or refused to offer help. This is Sydney for everyone. Any other city in Australia will have people stopping by if they see your blinkers on. Anyway, Alex & Andy literally crawled out of bed and drove out of their way to make sure everything was ok, even though there was nothing they could do to help. Waited out in the cold winds for James to rock up with a fresh new pack of cables to jump start the car. Was a very 'enjoyable' experience.. those guys are the funniest.
Since we just escaped getting a fine from parking at a 'No Parking' zone for 2 hours, we drove and parked at Town Hall where the ticket machine swallowed up my coins and refused to spit out a ticket, which we also got away with. Had dumplings for dinner at some Chinese restaurant, then parked at Circular Quay where we paid 30cents for a 4 minute parking but ended up staying for half an hour taking photos infront of the Opera House. Haha.. was a very 'interesting' and fun ticket-free night.
