Our final night.. Monday, 16-Aug-1999 04:57:31 195.188.98.25 writes: Well last night was our final night of being in Edinburgh :( Its just a shame there wasn't more time to do things, and that there was bad timing on occassions ... Well we came third in the pub quiz! Well technically. There were 3 teams who came second, and we would have been second has they bothered to count out score up properly ( Vanessa berated Steve about it at the pub, and he had admitted that he hadn't count the scores properly - BTW Steve - thanks for the Tequila's!!!) So who were the surprise guests you may be wondering... Well first up it was Greg (which was a BIG surprise for us - especially Ness who went red when he said hello to her from the stage in front of the whole audience!!! "Well I like to say word up".) The second was Richard with the subject of Mexico (in which we got top marks - I wonder why...). The third guy was Johnny Vegas who was ...well... there has to be only one word to describe him.... Pissed! After giving out the question he would then give out the answer (which wasn't supposed to happen until the end of the round.) Anyway we are all now packed and waiting to get our flight home tonight, although we will be making a detour to Mexico! on our way back. It was fun... just damn the timing.
