Sunday, 04-Jul-1999 19:47:38 207.181.82.197 writes: Ok so before Lorna departs tomorrow :((( we decided to head on down Niagara way to see the Falls, and WHAT A DAY!! (for ONE of us at least) First off A HUGE HUGE thanks to Jenn for driving the gang down to the Falls!! YAY Jenn!!!!(from those of us who were in the car and weren't named Jenn :)) We exited our nice air conditioned car after singing hoedowns all the way down (thanks for the tape Jess!!) into the sauna that is Southern Ontario this weekend. For you fans out there the U () Oo salute made its way to Niagara Falls. We had lunch at Planet Hollywood, newly opened down Niagara way, we noticed ALOT of Americans proudly displaying their lovely flag on their t-shirts (was there a sale at TOPS???) Oh btw, happy July 4th to ya all!! And we waved to our American friends across the border. Then we headed over to see the Falls in all its splendour, we then wanted to get some water at a concession stand we were next in line when the girl said "we have to close we have no change and only warm drinks" HUH?? It's the busiest weekend for tourists in Niagara and they have no change and only warm drinks???? OK!! After getting the mandatory shots of the Falls we headed over to the Casino (Serena here:YAY!!!) and started playing the slots. There was a big winner in the group, no not the Las Vegas Junkie but the one and only Brooke!!! She won $200.00!!!!!! The girl has been to two Casinos in her life, in LV where she won $500.00US and now $200.00 in Niagara!!!! Can you say LUCK!!! Or did she really listen to that James Coburn tape about the secret to slots?? hmmm.... So we left the Casino, to head back to Brooke's listening all the way home to Greg Proops live in the UK (thanks Nessa!!!) And does the man ROCK or what??? Anyways we shall bid adieu we are tired!!! We want to say to Lorna it was GREAT having you here and we are going to miss you lots!! :::sniff::: Au revoir and qui oublie le lait????
