For the people didst gather, both near and far, from the realm to the south and from across the great waters. And they didst cry out to the heavens in joy, for it was the time, and the time was now. And five of these disciples, they did gather before the rest, and call out to them, and say "we have nothing left to give, please dear god let this go well or else we're screwed!" And with that prayer, they led the others into the hallowed halls of the Commune of Ryerson. And they brought out the drinks of the sacrament, raising the clear nectar of the gods to the air. chanting S.D.L. And they did sacrifice this, and what little sanity they were holding onto, towards the heavens. To wake the next day, first to hear the message of the prophets who could not be there, but who sent their words by the power of the spirit to fill their ears. And then, there to meet with one of the prophets. The prophet whose land was this northern place, who walked its realm, and knew it well. And he knew the disciples well, for they hadst followed him many times, and yet he was not sore afraid. Instead he didst come to them, and spread his word, and sign the holy relics. And although the prophet was said to also be the antichrist, it was okay, for they did not care. For his powers were great no matter what. The advocate of the devil didst wander into that realm, and he didst speak to them, and they didst listen, and after his words did travel to his and the prophet's former shrine. Some taking a pilgrammage, past the great space vehicle, some speeding their way to this shrine, some going to see the ... jazz festival. yah. and partake of the heavenly music. Passing there to partake of meal, and then enter the great SC Shrine. Passing the holy icons that shone on the walls, and watching with joy those who followed in the prophet's footsteps. Only then to return home and ... partake of the sacraments again. Til finally, they didst give a mighty roar, and say we do not want to go! Stretching out the time by imitating the prophets, and then speaking of their great wisdoms, competing for their grace. Finally holding on to one last desperate chance, the power of enchantment stealing them away for one last time to be together in that strength and yet again ... partake of the sacraments. And that is the story of the time of togetherness, of the great convention, where the prophets shook their heads mightily, the heavens smiled down, and the disciples well ... partied. So ends this tale. Praise be the Great Prophet ... errr ... antichrist? ;) Jessie/Tigger/on her lunch break ...
