The St Peter Chanel "ZONE" swimming championships were again trialed and the challengers couldn't take the crown away from Guy and his school. With a strong relay teams and a personal best time in the freestyle for Guy, the school maintain their winning stand for another year.Luke made his debut to carnival swimming with an impressive showing and making it to the podium (3rd) in his 25m Freestyle event.
PCYC / Tohkon Ryu
JuJitsu has moved back to Lang Park ( SunCorp stadium ) and the environment is world class. It took quite a while to build and then the Rugby World cup took precedence, the wait was worth it. A splendidly layed floor and mat, well lit and ventilated as well.With compliments to the Shihan Mark Haseman, juniors have a well balance mix of new and experienced students with a healthy representation of girls. Being part of the PCYC, the benefits to the local community are positive, discipline, respect for fellow students along with a fun spirit sets the scene for a moderate defensive martial arts class.
