Yes still unemployed and feeling as though I'm bashing my head against a wall a few people had the cureousy to spend time with me and give me some ideas on how to tackle the degrading IT marketplace. It's always heartwarmimng to know REAL people stille exist amongst the capitalistic and socially classed infrastructures in this often hypocritical world.

I've taken the negative of being unemployed to self teach myself many of the web development methods currently used on the internet, my approach was to tackle a new layout using windows, as expected my peers flamed me for my design, some on the other hand granted me praise for tackling the task and being innovative. Needless to say I succumb the the views of my peers.

Oh.. What a saga, the final product has given us much joy and cooled many an overheated temperement of the last two years. Luke is now moving towards enjoying the water and along with the occasional ducks that visit we dont have any regrets.

After many years of marriage one realises In laws and holidays just dont mix. So I kept on working while Lu and the children enjoyed a holiday on the sunshine coast with her parents and sister. I visited on weekends and that was more than enough.

The Bardon home

Along with the pool 55 tonnes of concrete was poured in one day, I shrunk 2 inches that day. Redesigned and added some front decks, concetered two paths, dug trenches for the pool plumbing, electrics, carpentry, gates and fencing, great holiday huh! Damn .. I still have to paint it yet

The interest in web design was limited to a simple document layout using Frontpage Express, my skills and knowledge have more depth since this first attempt, I did realise the scope of HTML but never realised the extremes developers would go to and the future of what lay ahead.
