2006 Annual Schools Web Design Awards

Both primary and secondary students can produce great web pages that will inform and entertain.  Building and maintaining a web site is a project with real outcomes, and provides a great opportunity for students to work together in teams and to build a broad range of skills and knowledge – not just IT.

Schools across NSW have recently competed in the 2006 Annual Schools Web Design Awards

The great entries proved the point that our students are capable of producing very good web sites. Schools in Northern Sydney Region won a number of awards.

I would like to see permanent student maintained web sites in all schools in our Region.
