This is not a Northern Sydney school, but it is a good initiative and demonstrated that public education can bring politicians of both parties together. Present at the opening were Margaret Whitlam (an old girl of Bondi), Malcolm Turnbull (local Liberal Federal MP), and Paul Pearce (local ALP NSW MP for Coogee).
