To all public school P&C
Associations in NSW Dear
Friend of Public Education, STATE ELECTION - MARCH 24, 2007 For
85 years P&C Federation has long supported the rights of all children to
attend an education system that is free and secular and open to all. In
contemporary Australia never has the need to be accepted without fear of
prejudice or exclusion been more essential. As the State Election on 24th
March 2007 draws closer it is time for our affiliates to embark upon
highlighting the needs of our Public Education system. P&C
Federation has been involved in the Public Education Alliance and has
committed to five main areas of need in public education in New South Wales.
Further to these demands we would like to call upon P&C Associations
across the state to lobby candidates and sitting members for their own
individual schools and community's needs. P&C
Federation is supporting our affiliates by providing a compact disc that
provides information regarding Federation's state election priorities. Also
included is Members of Parliament contact details, useful web links and tips
for successful lobbying. The CD will arrive by mail in
your schools in early February. As
always Federation extends an invitation for anyone requiring further
