Where
the kitchen is the heart of every home; an essential part of
our daily life that revitalizes us physically, emotionally and
spiritually, a place to count on for sustenance and comfort.
A world away from the cracking pace
beyond.
Amoré Cucina: a place to create and to
express our inner and outer being; a place to experiment with
new ways; a special place to reflect on the day that was and
to plan for tomorrow.
A place to make, to share, to love and
to be loved, to inspire and be inspired.

Glenice Whitting

Glenice Whitting started writing during
her last year of a Bachelor of Arts degree, ostensibly
taking her towards a career in Sociology. Fate, however,
intervened in the form of a class in Fiction Writing. When
one of her short stories gained a high commendation in the
Judah Waten International Short Story Competition,
Glenice’s fate was sealed.
She is passionate about writing and every
aspect of the craft. Her play "Hair Today, Gone Tomorrow"
was produced during the 2002 Fertile Ground New Play
Festival. In 2003, her film script "Crosswords" was
shortlisted in the Glen Eira Literary Competition and an
earlier draft of her novel "Pickle to Pie" was shortlisted
in the Victorian Premier’s Literary Award for an
Unpublished Manuscript. For three years she was
contributing editor at Suite101.com and her ebook
"Inspiring Women" is available online.
Glenice is currently studying for her
Masters in Creative Writing. |

Jo
Murphy is an art teacher with a passion for personal development
and the healing arts, and interested in all aspects of
natural healing promoting inner balance and well being. She
loosely describes her arts philosophy as "Art of Recovery;”
a blend of simple lifestyle, mixed with an holistic approach
to healing which empowers self expression through a variety
of art forms. This process enables expression of the core
inner truth for the individual, in a communal situation of
high trust and abundance, allowing individuals to process
thoughts, ideas and values that they may not have been able
to access by a more verbal or cognitive approach.

Lili Aurora is the brainchild of Sydney mums
(and sisters) Natalie Grueninger, a primary school
teacher, and Karina Juncal, a journalist. The idea
came about this year when Natalie, 28, started
thinking about a sibling for her 3-year-old daughter
Isabel, and was reminded of how hard it is to find
gorgeous, affordable maternity-wear with a stylish
edge. |

The philosophy behind
our business is that women should not have to
compromise their style during pregnancy. So much
about our body and mind changes when we’re expecting
a baby, our look shouldn’t have to. Our aim at Lili
Aurora is to seek out pieces that will become
wardrobe favourites during pregnancy and
beyond—we’re constantly searching for innovative
designers that offer comfort together with that
eye-catching “special something.” Our garments are
beautiful; looking through our first deliveries of
stock, Natalie reports wanting to wear everything in
the boxes—and she’s not pregnant (yet!) |

We know how satisfying
it is to chance upon a stunning bargain by a new
label when you’re not pregnant, and we don’t believe
those moments should end when you are. For chic
maternity wear, comfortable fabrics and excellent,
personalised service, look no further than Lili
Aurora. We’ll make sure you Bloom in Style.

One of the things which most
excites me is the element of chance in our lives,
eg. chance happenings or chance discoveries. I
welcome, perhaps even live for, the unpredictable.
