The Company.
Enterprise Computing was founded in 1994 in order to provide specialist consulting services to organizations designing, developing and deploying G.U.I. mission critical, client/server and N-tiered applications.

Unlike many other companies providing consulting services to organizations for application development, the staff of Enterprise Computing are conversant in much more than constructing 'pretty' application front-ends.

The design and development of G.U.I. applications must encompass the whole range of information processing regimes. In order to achieve success in the development arena the consulting staff provided by Enterprise Computing are experienced in the analysis and design of database schemas, business transaction models, work practice/flow policies, concurrency control, logical transaction management, network management, business process and application integration, and a host of other disciplines.

Good applications do not happen by themselves. Useful applications which assist the business bottom-line are not created by themselves. All successful application development must be constructed from a solid and proven foundation.

The Database.
The principal Relational Databases which all of the consulting staff have experience using are:
  • Oracle 9i, 10i
  • Computer Associates INGRES II 2.5, 2.6 & R3
  • Microsoft SQL Server 2000

    They are also fully conversant with installation and configuration of INGRES/Net, Oracle SQL*Net, INGRES Replicator, Enterprise Gateway products, ODBC & JDBC access software.
