Churches and Cemeteries in NSW

Hi there, thanks for stopping by.

Sydney has a small number of historic Churches and cemeteries in the Western suburbs, some in better condition than others. Some of the smaller ones are now surrounded by housing developments but have National Trust conservation orders on

I have some examples of these here, along with a potted history. If you wish to read the history, go ahead, otherwise enjoy the pictures.

Please sign my guest book at the bottom of this page.

The Churches

St Bartholomew's Anglican at Prospect.
St Stephen the Martyr at Penrith.

The Cemeteries

Prospect.
Rouse Hill.
Mays Hill (separate site by the 'Friends of Mays Hill').
St Stephen's burial ground at Penrith.
St John's. The oldest existing European burial ground in Australia.

A bit of commercialism.  If you are from Australia and are looking for computer parts or software, please visit Teletrak

Hopefully  all the links work. If any don't,  please email me.
