Nanny & Poppa came to stay for a few days this week. They came to help play with me so that Mama could get some work done. Top of the list of things due was a letter to the foster parents in China containing photos of my progress plus a report to the Dept of Community Services on my progress. Nanny & Poppa learnt where I go to Gymbaroo (a play/learn group) and what to do when they take me there. We took them to the mall where Mama shops now because it has undercover parking and good pram access. She uses the mall instead of the high street parking and pop into a shop method she used before I arrived. They also took me in the pram for a kilometre walk and a play on the swings. This is the first time I have been anywhere without Baba or Mama. We also showed them the beach where I can play safely in the sand.

They helped to make the decision to purchase a table to replace the wine box that we have been using as a table. Next time they visit they should be able to provide lots of free time for Mama. Before they left they expected me to sit still while Mama took a photo.

That evening Mama and Baba found that I had passed two round worms. My first time parents immediately went into panic mode and then into a steep learning curve on how to treat a family for worms.

While all this training was going on our cable TV and VCR both broke down separately, which required several visits by the service repair men. There is never a dull moment in our house.
