Rajnikanth talks about his new movie
Tamil megastar Rajnikanth has
broken his silence on his new film Chandramukhi’ and why he
chose to put in cold storage ‘Jakkubhai’. In a brief
interaction with the media on Friday, after attending the
77th birthday celebrations of late Sivaji Ganesan here, he
hoped that ‘Chandramukhi’ would prove a turning point both
for him and its producers, the Sivaji Productions, a film
company managed by the Sivaji clan.

'Chellamay' tops among
Tamil films
"Chellamay", a film with new
faces except for Reema Sen, is a surprise hit and the new
topper on the Tamil scene.
Like
"Autograph" and "Azhagiya Theeye", "Chellamy" has also
succeeded on the strength of a strong story and neat
narration. As for "Vasoolraja M.B.B.S.", it still rules.

Taml Nadu announces film
awards for three years
Tamil Nadu Thursday announced
state film awards for 2000, 2001 and 2002 after a gap of
three years. Adjudged the best films of 2000, 2001,
and 2002 respectively were "Vaanathai Polae", "Virumbugiren"
and "Ramana".
