Recording Quality: Pretty good. Not really just for the hardcore; all of the instruments are clear and discernable. A slight amount of noise reduction was used between the songs; Plant's chatter is very clear and hiss-free, but once the song starts the tape hiss becomes audible. A rare case of restraint from our Japanese friends!
Comments: An excellent show. One of my favorites from this tour, and given a choice of this set or one of the many sterile '73 soundboards, I'd take this one in a minute! Bottom Line: Excellent show. Listen before you buy, and if you can stand a fairly standard audience recording..go for it! Jeff Barlow (6/11/96) |
